About Us

We’re two women in our mid-forties who have always loved dressing well — but somewhere along the way, fashion stopped speaking to us. Everything felt too young, too trendy, or simply not made for women like us. So, we decided to create what we couldn’t find — timeless, stylish pieces that make women our age feel confident, comfortable, and completely themselves. That’s how Doresu was born.

And inspired by my three years in Tokyo — where I fell in love with all things Japanese — we chose the name Doresu, meaning “dress” in Japanese (pronounced do-res, with the “u” silent).
